Description
Book Date is a ground-up initiative designed to bridge the gap between local authors and participants who use their books, by connecting them to one another. Participants include illustrators, publishers, booksellers, authors and early childhood educators. Authors will share about their books, how their books came about and interact with the participants. They will also sell their books during the programme. Positive connections are made between professionals in the writing industry and the reading community. The aim of Book Date is to promote reading and support the local writing industry.
