Feast of Feelings takes its inspiration from Wordsworth’s words by exploring Singapore poetry through 6 feelings associated with mental health conditions: melancholy; anxiety; euphoria; confusion; entrapment; and release.
Through the exchange between participants, poets and performers, even those who are impartial towards poetry could be encouraged to reflect on the impact of living with mental health conditions. The project has 2 parts: (i) a series of online videos, each presenting a feeling and 1 or more poems; and (ii) a celebratory event.
The evening ends with food, an appreciation of Singapore poetry and an understanding of mental health conditions.
