Description
Jeffrey Tan, an experienced theatre director, will lead seniors and kindergarten children to explore the themes in the legend of Bukit Merah. Using found objects, the participants will present the story at Kampong Admiralty.
Through this project, participants between different age groups can foster better communication with one another. Both senior and young participants can also experience presenting different characters together on the same stage.

Jeffrey graduated with an MA (Drama and Theatre Education) from the University of Warwick. He has worked full time as Resident Director with The Theatre Practice (1997), Drama Lecturer with LASALLE SIA (1999), Associate Artistic Director with TheatreWorks (S) Ltd (2002), Assistant Director (Festivals) with the National Arts Council (2007), Assistant Director, Community Arts and Culture Division, People’s Association (2012).
